Trans Rights Set (Wood)

Description

I make these coasters with Ash lumber that I get from a local mill.  I like Ash because it is local to my area, not too hard on the blades, and the light color is good for contrast engraving. Each coaster is 3.75 inches square and 5/8" thick.  This is beefier than most coasters which are usually 1/4" to 1/2".  But I think the heft is classy, and worthy to be called queer.

The bottom features the T4Timbers logo.  Each piece has four waterproof cork "feet" in various colors.  They are finished with Odie's water-resistant hard wax.

Wipe them off if they get dirty or handwash with water and/or soap.  Please don't put them in the washer.

l shape each coaster to size using a table saw. Each side has a small portion on top that is flat which the balance of the side is curved down, creating another elegance I find worth the time (which is four extra cuts per coaster on the saw.)

I sand them, coat them with hard wax, engrave with a laser and then glue the feet which are made of water-resistant cork, a naturally renewable material.

These coasters are coated with Odie's Finish and Polish. Odie's is made of all-natural ingredients including natural oils and a small
amount of food grade D-limonene (a solvent extracted from citrus peels)

Odie's contains UV protection that waterproofs the coasters and should protect them from sunlight. Wipe them with water to clean but don't put them in the dishwasher.

Odie’s finishes are handmade in small batches in the USA to ensure quality.

Keep in mind that each coaster is unique because it is made of organic material. Each its own strengths and flaws. If you don't love these coasters, please contact me for an exchange or refund. (I will ask you to pay shipping costs:)
